Jenn and I have a baby girl! Her name is Mia Magdalena Umali, and she was born Wednesday, March 28, 2001. This is our first baby. And this blog will be a daily record of my thoughts during her first year growing up with us.

OK. No worries. Mia has an ear infection. Mia will now enjoy some prescription drugs for the next few days.

A few weeks ago, I said that I'd stop writing this diary after she turned one. But before I can close this diary, I want to wait for Mia to get better. Since her party, Mia's had a fever. After calls to the doctor yesterday (Sunday) and today (Monday), we still haven't been to the pediatrician's office. Basically, Mia's fever responds to the Tylenol, but it never seems to go away. Tomorrow, Jenn's going to the doctor. And after Mia feels better, then I'll feel better about how this BLOG ends.
