Jenn and I have a baby girl! Her name is Mia Magdalena Umali, and she was born Wednesday, March 28, 2001. This is our first baby. And this blog will be a daily record of my thoughts during her first year growing up with us.

Day-care called Jenn today again! Mia was running a slight fever, and pulling at one of her ears (her right one). So Jenn trudged over to pick her up. She arranged for a pediatrician visit in the afternoon. When they looked at Mia, she turned out to be perfectly fine.Later, Jenn said "it's as if she wanted to leave school early, so she faked being sick." Ha!

Spent the weekend at Grandma's. Mia's "la, la, la, la" and "da, da, da, da" were the hit of the weekend.
